TreeHouse Arborist Training Center, founded by Eric and Tina Raven, is a first-of-its-kind business in Southern Minnesota. The couple created an indoor training space where aspiring arborists can safely learn tree climbing, chainsaw use, and safety techniques before stepping into a tree.
After more than a year of planning, the Ravens opened TreeHouse in February 2024. With support from the Southern Minnesota Small Business Development Center, they strengthened their business model, refined their financial plan, and put the right structure in place to launch successfully.
Since opening, TreeHouse has welcomed students into its climate-controlled facility and continues to expand its curriculum and certifications. The Ravens are preparing for their busiest season yet and are excited to grow TreeHouse as a safe, practical entry point into the arborist trade.
